| The price was low, so I shouldn't have expected much. It's an older building and the rooms haven't been updated and the furnishings and beds have seen better days. I could've been happy if only the bed would've been adequate--instead it was old, flattened, and the sheets became untucked almost immediately. I learned the old adage "you get what you pay for".

| The hallways were very smelly and stale although the rooms were fresh. They do not supply "Do Not Disturb" hangers. When Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8AM on our second day, we asked them to come back later. We were out by 9 or 9:30, but they did not come back to clean the room or supply more towels, etc. When we called at 4PM they did respond promptly with new towels and toilet paper, but we had obviously missed the window for new sheets and a cleaning.

| Room clean and adequate. Public areas a little rough in places. Breakfast was more than the usual frozen pastry and watered-down juice. Close to several fast food places, grocery store, etc. Easy freeway access.

| This is an older motel that has been kept up and remodeled. The continental breakfast was very good and the beds were extremely comfortable.

| Good Points: 1. Clean rooms 2.Confortable beds 3. Wireless Internet 4. Free newspaper 5. Price is very reasonable compared to the larger chains. Needs Improvement: 1. Lousy continental breakfast with no place to sit except in a crowded lobby. 2. Water pressure drops to virtually nothing during peak periods. 3. Satellite television needs more channels. Lock Your Deadbolt! Our room was rented to another person after we had checked in. They have enough keys to give out more than two. We came back to the room and walked in on this person who was already in the bed. The clerks didn't seem to think it was any big deal. It was to me and most likely to the person we walked in on.

| Staff was always helpful and curtious. Access to motel was inconvenienced by road construction and having to drive through a car lot to get to the motel. Facility seems a bit dated with scratches on furniture. This appears to be an older motel that Shilo took over from someone else. I would hope for upgrades over time.

| The hotel was supposedly remodeled but I did not see any evidence of this. It was dark and drab in the room and there was a funny smell. It was also noisy at night-kids running up and down the hallway at 11:00 pm. WOuld not stay there again.

| I was a little wary pulling in to the hotel as it sits right alongside the highway. The outward appearance of the hotel led me to believe it was a bit dated, however, upon my warm greeting at check-in, I felt comfortable that this experience would be better than anticipated. The hallway leading to the room was a bit dark, and you could smell cigarettes coming from the smoking rooms, however, my room had no smells. It was very clean and well-lit, the AC worked fine, and the fixtures and bathroom were recently updated. All in all, it was a fine experience for the price, and I will stay here again.
