| The Plaza Real is a very pleasant, attractive hotel with a beautiful central outdoor courtyard. The location is excellent (you can quickly walk to most places near the Santa Fe Plaza), the staff was very helpful. The Aveda supplies in the bathroom are a nice surprise. Though it's in the center of the city, the rooms are very, very quiet.

| I picked this hotel for it's location (proximity to Indian Market) and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. From the step by step directions around the blocked roads to the hotel, to the very cute room decor, the hospitality, free wireless, soft towels, the fun bar..., we had a blast and will stay there again next year!

| The location of this hotel couldn't be better. It is less than a block off of the square. The price is also very reasonable compared to most hotels in the historical district. The only negative is that the king bed rooms have a stair well that takes up half of the room. This apparently allows for the king room and the room immediately below to be rented as a unit. Beware that they will charge you $12 per day to self-park.

| This is a comfortable hotel... 1 block from the Plaza. Covered parking is convenient, if a bit pricey. No restaurant... and the bar is small and no food service. King standard rooms are small but bathrooms are very nice with spa tubs and nice dressing area. Suites are much more comfortable and worth the money, since you seem to get a lot more for the little extra $$. Small fridge in each room. Nice linens. We had a 3 night stay on Expedia and decided to extend one day. The front desk said no vacancies, however, we checked Expedia, and sure enough they had a room, and the prices were much more reasonable than those quoted by the hotel.

| This is situated on the edge of Old Town right around the corner from the Basilica, and next to the square. The center of thehotel is open air and has nice patio tables and chairs. 2nd & 3rd floor room have balconies with tables and chairs. Perfect for a evening drink. Parking is below the Hotel for an extra fee. You could probably find another spot for your car if you looked.

| Overall, we enjoyed the hotel. However, the room is extremely dark...which was helped only a little bit by purchasing more powerful light bulbs. Although the bed was quite comfortable, the make-shift sofa was as hard as a rock.

| We stayed in this hotel for one night in Santa Fe. The service was very good, although Frommers had questioned it since it had recently changed hands. The staff were accomodating, the rooms were large and comfortable and the location was excellent. Would stay in the same place again when visiting SF.

| Great location, just 1/2 block from the Plaza and all its shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. My wife bought a silver bracelet from one of the native artists in front of the Palace of the Governor's, the best place to shop for authentic native goods. Coyote Cafe on Water Street was a fabulous experience (a little pricey) and The Shed has great southwest food for a more affordable budget, less than a block from the hotel.
