Ramada Plaza Inn On Bourbon Amenities
Ramada Plaza Inn is set on the former site of the French Opera House (built in 1859; destroyed by fire in 1919). Today, the inn stands amid all the "action," as the corners of Bourbon and Toulouse are a crossroads famous for non-stop partying and festivities. New Orleans nightlife is said to "begin" here, and the Ramada balconies are especially popular vantage points during Mardi Gras. In the courtyard, a four-story palm tree shades a pool and seven-foot fountain. There is also a fitness center onsite. The lounge area houses a bar, and the hotel cafeteria offers breakfast. Limo and Town Car service and babysitting or child care are available for a surcharge. Valet parking: $16-25 per 24-hour period. Secured parking garage with in/out privileges. Fee does not include tax and is subject to change without prior notification.

The famous Chris Owens burlesque club is 1 block away, and Tropical Isle is across the street—home of the neon-green "hand-grenade" cocktail. | Cleaniness of lobby, pool and room was very good. Restocking of towels, hand towels, face clothes, coffee, surgar and creamer had to be requested sveral times and was not always responded to in a timely manner. Had to make request several times. Check-in was very slow.

| The hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarters. Lovely inside and out. The employees are friendly and helpful and at your beck and call. It was a wonderful treat to stay there and would go back again. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

| It was nice to see patrons return to New Orleans to for Jazzfest 2006. Some changes in business hours of some of the bars and shops were bearable. I was impressed with the spirit of rebuilding New Orleans. I will return.

| Location is fantastic, service was excellent, was upgraded at no extra cost to a mini-suite for my entire four night stay when my nonsmoking king was unavailable the first night. Have stayed there before and would stay there on future trips. Rates were competitive.

| This hotel is conveniently located right on Bourbon Street. There is night time security though we didn't feel the need for it. Parking attendants were fast. Although we could hear a band at night (we were on Bourbon Street, what could we expect) the noise level did not prevent us from sleeping. Breakfast was very good. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this hotel was.

| I understand they are short handed right now, but the intelligence and communication between employees is lacking. The employees also lack friendly enthusiasum to help out guests. I would recommend to stay else where for the money you spend, however the convienence of the hotel is outstanding.

| Considering the situation in New Orleans, I was happy to have a hotel, but disappointed in the price of the room. The hotel offered a buffet supper and breakfast which was very nice.

| We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada on Bourbon. Eventhough the hurricane has tamed Bourbon Street quite a bit - it was so nice to stay in this hotel and enjoy the wonderful French Quarter again. Although some services are still limited in this hotel, we had a wonderful stay and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I recommend it!
