    Features
What to expect: Treats for the eye and rest for the weary is the theme at this architecturally dazzling resort. The children's pool is well away from other pools, ensuring family fun in one spot and tranquility elsewhere.

Amenity highlights: The resort contains seven pools, with the main complex consisting of terraces with curved white walls, palm trees, and cactus gardens interspersed with pools (one for children), a 12-person spa, and a swim-up bar. Padded lounges provide sunbathing comfort. Farther along the beach are two quiet pools overlooking the beach, and another pool is secluded on the mountainside. The beach is long and broad, but safe swimming days are few due to strong undercurrents.

Insider tip: The safe swimming signal-flag is set out most often in the mornings before the sea becomes rough.

La Cascada - The resort's main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with à la carte choices at all meals, a buffet at breakfast, and theme buffets available at dinner. Both air-conditioned and terrace seating is available, and there's live music at breakfast and dinner.

El Set - Another all-day, à la carte restaurant offering breakfast and dinner buffets as well, this place features Mexican cuisine, seafood, and steak at dinner.

Arrecifes - Spectacularly situated on the beach, this open-air restaurant serves an international menu at night accompanied by piano music, and includes the On the Rocks Bar.

La Playa - Sun and shade terraces, neighborly pelicans, and a menu of seafood, Mexican specialties, sandwiches, and salads draw guests at lunch.

La Cantina - A contemporary version of the traditional cantina, this intimate spot features tequila by candlelight.

Arrecifes - Situation on a hill overlooking the Sea of Cortez and serves an International-style evening menu. A pianist and saxophonist provide live entertainment.

Asian Corner & Martini Bar - Located in one corner of Arrecifes Restaurant, guests can enjoy favorite Asian specialties in a unique surrounding with a variety of 25 different martinis.

This resort is terrific in every way, especially the service staff. We had a unique perspective as we were there during Hurricane John and had to be evacuated to another area of the hotel property. They were 100% prepared for a Cat 4 Hurricane and had special sleeping rooms, TV and Game rooms, and a kitchen available where we were given wonderful buffet meals for the 17 hours of our confinement. We can't say enough about the accommodations and the staff. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

The wonderful staff at the Westin Los Cabos made this a memorable stay for my husband and I. I would return in a heartbeat. Wonderful amenities, and service. If your watching your spending though, go down Hwy 1 to the Mega store or local shops/pharmacies, to purchase your bottled water and or other drinks/snacks. Many wonderful places around the corridor to eat also. The food and presentation at the resort's restuarants is wonderful, but a bit expensive for every meal of the day. So take advantage of the resort's location, not far from airport, and situated perfectly between San Jose Cabos and Cabos San Lucas for plenty of shopping and much to do, with many ways to get around. I preferred a car rental for the freedom of getting around and storing packages while shopping, but there are plenty of shuttles and other sources. But if you chose not to leave the resort, you have fantastic activities, spas, pools, beautiful long endless beach, etc. etc. The staff is very, very accomodating and helpful. A fantastic stay and a beautiful complex. Their "Heavenly beds and baths" are exactly that... HEAVEN! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Besides the fact that we could not control the temperature (was freezing the whole time) and that the room was right beside a service road (noise throughout the evening), it was a nice hotel. The people were very friendly and the pools were fabulous.

My girlfriend and I just returned from the Westin Los Cabos. We had an amazing time. The far exceeding our expectations. People were extremely friendly. The food is very very good, however is expensive. If you plan on eating at the hotel frequently (which we did) I recommend getting the meal plan. It is a minimum of 2 days for $50 per person per day. Also 2 for 1 drinks during meal time. It is very worth it considering the seafood buffet will run you $55 per person. Drinks are pretty expensive and very watered down. You might want to stick with beer. We both had massages and they were incredible. The spa is very nice. Cab ride will cost you $25 to and from Cabo San Lucas. Don't pay more. If you can take the shuttle from the hotel at least one way that will cost $7 each way. The pool areas are very nice, the water is very warm though. There is something for everyone, whether a young couple like us, older couples, honeymooners and families. We will definatley be back here!!

This hotel is wonderful. The service is incredible - friendly and helpful but not overbearing. The grounds and rooms are beautiful, the location is stunning, and the food was excellent (somewhat expensive, but very tasty particularly by resort standards.) Cabo has great activities but our best day was spent hanging out at the resort.

We had a great time at the WESTIN. people were friendly and helpful. The bed was great and the hotel is very clean. My only peave is the "Club" that is easy to get suckered into seeing secondary to the giveaways. it wasn't worth it to us at the end of the day and furtermore I was a bit disconcerted to find out that they were oping champagne all around us as if people were gobbling up good deals, only to later find that those people hadn't bought into the "prepaid vacation deal" after all. The pressure and pitch are amazing on one level but, again, I would avoid the 90 minutes that turns into three hours like the plague. Additionally I would say the food is at best average, especially for the price. There were better places in the both Cabos.
