| In addition to nice clean rooms and good amenities, this hotel has several excellent restaurants and bars. The food is excellent in all I tried. I look forward to staying in this hotel every year.

| The Blackfoot is OK, but it is in an industrial park with no other restaurants or attractions narby. The outside isn't very appealing, but the inside is quite a bit nicer. In fact, when we first approached the hotel, we decided that it looked a bit grim and decided to look for something else. Only the lack of any other rooms in downtown Calgary sent us back. Dinner was enjoyable, but breakfast missed the mark on several levels.

| Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very spacious and the kitchenette was great - better stocked than many others I've stayed in. Ask to be up as high as possible, as street noise can be an issue (for folks not used to urban life). Great location: walk to Granville Island ferries, the VAG and shopping. Bus to the University campus (and the great museum) is right in front of the hotel.

| Hotel is priced at a lower level and the expectations were met. Clean and comfortable. Seventh floor is the best.
