We had a room with a king bed. This type of room comes with a mini fridge and microwave, which were most convenient for our 3 night stay. My husband used the fitness room and pool and enjoyed both. It was located near the interstate and turnpike which made getting around very easy. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very comfortable for mother and 7 year old daughter. We especially liked the outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi with waterfall. Would definitely go back to relax and enjoy.

The area was quiet, but within a few miles were plenty of restaurants and the Maine Mall. It was a very nice and relaxing stay. Lenny the Chocolate Moose is a hit with the kids!

This hotel was functional, however quite dated. We chose this hotel because of price and it was an average hotel and reasonably quiet.

My family and I were very comfortable and happy with our stay. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and appeared well maintained. The room was very clean (and I am a stickler.)

This was a good location and price for visiting Portland. Kids enjoyed the pool. Air conditioner a little noisy and hotel starting to show its age. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of trucks in parking lot since near I-295.

I have definitely stayed in worse. It would have been an okay stay for one or two nights, we were there for 5! The walls were dirty, dusty spider webs in the corner, with a resident! Had to call front desk to kill it, which they did, but most of the web stayed intact for our stay. The front desk was courteous and I was impressed with them, they could use a little help in the housekeeping dept.

This Best Western was typical of the Best Western's I've stayed in previously. It is an older hotel that could stand some remodeling. I thought it was priced too high for the quality. There were lots of tractor-trailer trucks parked on the lot. As a frequent traveler I just found it unimpressively average and over-priced. My next trip to Portland will not include a stay at this Motel. There was an excellent Mexican restaurant across the street -- that was the most memorable part of my stay.

My family and I recently rented a house in Maine and needed a place to stay for the night before we could get the keys. After taking the red-eye, we needed to check in early and the hotel had no problem allowing us to check in at 9:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). After a much-needed nap, the kids went swimming in the heated pool. There is a restaurant right next door that has great food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting the South Portland area.
