    This smoke-free resort primarily caters to leisure travelers and is situated on 40 private acres in the Mount Washington Valley and overlooks the Moat Mountain Range and Saco River Valley. The resort features a basketball court, volleyball court, two lighted tennis courts, fitness center, spa tub, nature trails, family barbecue nights, and a complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides and sleigh rides.

     

    Recreation
    The resort features private tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce, and shuffleboard. An outdoor and indoor pool, spa tub, and fitness center are also located on-site. The resort offers complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides in the summer and sleigh rides in the winter. For children, there is a playground, game room, and a supervised recreation program.

    In the summer time, the resort can reserve tee times at several golf courses in the area and can arrange for nearby horseback riding, canoeing, and kayaking. In the winter, the valley offers 100 kilometers of groomed cross-country and snowmobile trails. Several of New England’s best ski areas are within a half-hour drive.

    The overall condition and cleanliness of the facility was nice. The real standout is the hotel restaurant. It offers a great breakfast buffet, and a super prime rib dinner buffet, both are more than reasonably priced.

    the bed in our room was very uncomfortable..it was so hard it was like sleeping on the sidewalk.. could have gone camping for the same back ache.. the hotel staff was very cordial and professional. but,next time i think i'll go camping on the kangamangus highway instead..
