| I had specifically asked for non smoking room and they gave me a real smoked out dump. I told the receptionist that I had requested non smoking room as neither I nor my wife smoke. The receptionist tells me that I had specifically asked for non smoking room!. Any way she did give me a better non smoking room. Overall I would say it is good for the money. everything working kitchen, the shower was leaking at the bottom so the shower strength not so good. the outside faucet draining water very slow, I liked the king bed, was clean. my wife said she was scratching may be due to heavy detergent use. my room was far enough from the I-40 so no noise complaints. fairly good breakfast, overall good for the money.

| Ive stayed at other Marriott Residence Inns and felt completely "at home", but the Greensboro location was a let down. The hotel had a damp, musty smell and the exterior looked as if it hadnt been touched in years. The hotel staff was friendly but not professional. One staff member told me she thought that I was a trouble maker and gave me a "no party" form to sign!

| Not recommended. The hotel appeared a bit unkept, not particularly clean or well-maintained. The staff was pleasant although it was clear that the person who checked us in was in training - she had to continually ask for answers. There were no workout facilities at the hotel. Although the hotel made arrangements with a local fitness center for visitors, the fitness center closed at 5 PM and did not open until 1 PM. This is hardly flexible for travelers who usually workout late in the day or early in the morning.
