Features
What to expect: From the crystal chandeliers and fluted columns in the lobby to the elegant Louis XV furnishings in the guest suites, this hotel projects an atmosphere of refined European elegance. Business travelers and vacationers appreciate the hotel's top-notch service standards and enviable location in the financial district near shopping and major area attractions. Amenity highlights: The hotel's biggest asset is its boutique-hotel ambience and classic European decor. Guests entering the gilded lobby with its fireplace, 30-foot ceilings, and Louis XV furnishings often feel as if they are leaving the city behind and stepping into an elegant French château. With only 120 rooms, the hotel offers personalized service to all its guests, including daily housekeeping. Insider tip: The hotel is 2 blocks from Sinclair Centre, an atrium shopping mall inside a historic and completely restored building overlooking the waterfront. Exclusive fashion retailers include Plaza Escada, Leone Boutique, and Castle Milano. Dining options include a Morton's of Chicago steakhouse.
Copper Chimney - This two-story fine-dining restaurant serves three meals daily to both hotel guests and locals. Asian decor in a Tuscan architectural setting—with blown-glass chandeliers and dark wood paneling—mirrors the unique menu, which represents a blend of Mediterranean and Asian cooking styles. House specialties include handmade potato gnocchi, and "potato-bound halibut" with mushroom-ginger soya cream.

| Nice place, but I usually stay at a nicer hotel. I gave it a try based on price and reviews left by others. The suite was a little small, but for the price and area was priced right. If you want a nice room at a fair price, go for it. Next time I will spend more for a 1st class hotel.

| the hotel is very well located, we were able to walk to most places we wanted to see. after reading other reviews of this hotel we were expecting the rooms to be small and with 3 people they were small, but each sleeping area could regulate their own temperature. it is a very quiet hotel.

| Liked the Aveda tolietries! Room bar was a little steep on pricing, $4.50 for Diet Coke, at his price, soft drinks should be free! We enjoyed the Canada Day festivities and could walk everywhere from the hotel.w

| Le Soleil is a delightful boutique hotel in the downtown area of Vancouver and very convenient to al forms of transportation. They have a relatively inexpensive valet parking service. The lobby is very French/European and reminds me of a very fine boutique hotel in the 8th arrondisement in Paris. For the modest price compared to other places, this is a real winner with charming suites and an excellent restaurant and room service.

| Great location. Close to everything. Only 5 minutes walk to Robson Street. The hotel employees were all very pleasant and service oriented. Isabell at the reception desk was absolutely wonderful. The hotel restaurant was great. We have tasted their breakfast, lunch and 'tapas' in the evening. Everytime the quality and taste of food was exceptional.

| This hotel is in the heart of downtown Vancouver, close to all the main attractions, but unlike many of the other surrounding larger hotels, it has an intimate and elegant charm all of its own. The decor is warm and tasteful throughout the hotel with a "Victorian" ambience to the furnishings. The rooms are cosy, comfortable suites with all the amenities you could want and the staff are friendly and efficient. The adjoining "Copper Chimney" restaurant is equally characterful and delightful (try their Tapas bar and a carafe of wine to put you into relaxed mode) I would certainly seek out this hotel again when I visit this great city.
