| This hotel was very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Next time, I'd spend a little more, for a little higher quality.

| This was a good loction to walk to the parks and downtown along the Boise River greenbelt. My daugther had business at BSU and was able to walk there everyday of our stay (about a 15 minute walk)The pool is indoors so it is not weather dependent, there is a dry sauna and a steam bath in the exercise room. We felt we had a good location to get to places with a young child in stroller and not have to drive everywhere. The rooms had a microwave and refrigerator and were an ample size for 2 adults and a toddler. The furniture and decor are dated but rooms were clean. We felt this motel was a very good value...this was our second stay, I do not hesitate to recommend it.

| My two daughters & I spent a week at this Shilo while in Boise for a friend's wedding. We found the motel staff friendly and very helpful when asked for some sightseeing recommendations. The long breakfast hours were especially nice for the late sleepers, and the breakfast itself was a nice variety of breads, cereals, pastries, fruit and yogurt. Along with the usual juice & coffee or tea, there was a cappucino/cocoa machine. Our stay was quite pleasant.

| I have stayed here several times, visiting family in Boise. The pool is great for kids. I have however found a dirty bathtub and sofa sleeper. For the price I will continue staying here. Enjoy the river, employees, POOL, and breakfast.

| We used this motel coming and going to a destination in Utah. The outbound stay was satisfactory; the inbound stay was less so. The room for the second stay had a couple of oddities. The toilet bowl was covered with yellow "stuff". Perhaps the room hadn't been used in a week or so. It was not possible to take a bath-the water would only come out of the showerhead. Someone (a previous guest?) had left the radio alarm set to go off at midnight. Annoying, but not a deal killer. We were only there for 12 hours.

| There is no view of river. Hotel is in industrial warehouse district a mile from anything but ministrip malls, highway overpasses and beer joints. Elevator and room had been sprayed with some sort of insecticide, which kicked off our allergies. Had to check out after one night. Great hotel for a Scout troop, or anyone else looking for a "bargain" and rockbottom services, with no amenities (although pool ok). Otherwise go uptown or out of town.
