What to expect: This office-park hotel, with its large fountain in front, is seven minutes by car from the Los Angeles airport. Renovation of all guestrooms and public areas in the seven-story hotel was completed in January 2004. During the week, business travelers fill rooms; on weekends most guests are leisure travelers.
Amenity highlights: The pool and patio area offers a spa tub as well as locker rooms for men and women. Guests can watch arriving and departing planes from lounge chairs and tables. The 24-hour exercise room has a treadmill, stationary bike, step machine, and Nautilus equipment.
Insider tip: Vendors at nearby beaches such as Hermosa, Dockweiler, and Manhattan rent wakeboards, bicycles, and other recreation equipment.
Roxii Restaurant - American and Continental cuisine served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant lounge has three TVs, high-top tables and couches, and a happy hour during weekday nights.

| This hotel is located in a business district and not very close to shopping, food, etc. The hotel is nice and clean.

| Shuttle service was horrible. The operator and driver did not seem to communicate well. I called operator for at least 4 times and waited at the shuttle bus pick up for an hour. There is no place to sit, so I had to stand. At last, I asked to transfer me to customer service representative, they sent the shuttle within 10 minutes. It was horrible. Otherwise, it was fair.

| We planned an overnight stay at this hotel when returning from a trip to Costa Rica on July 13, 2006. Our plane arrived around 11:30 p.m. and we just didn't want to deal with waiting and getting another flight out that same night. We did have to call the hotel for pick up, but they were there very quickly and we were whisked away to a warm greeting by hotel staff, and a wonderful room. These are the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced outside of my home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a night over in LAX. Shuttle left on time the next morning.

| Hotel was very nice. The beds and pillows were great. Very comfortable. Also, the welcome cookies were a nice touch. I had stayed in a Double Tree previously and it was also very nice. Location was close to some of the beaches and close to several things that were on our list to see in LA. The swimming pool was great and was large enough to swim laps. I did not use the workout room but appeared a little small. The only drawback was that there was not concierge services. The front desk was somewhat helpful but was not extremely knowlegable about things to see in the area. Since this was our 1st trip to LA this service would have been helpful. As a matter of fact, I was a little surprised that there wasn't a concierge. The hotel itself was great.

| Lots of choices when you need a hotle around LAX. Do not consider this as one. It's a Doubletree in name only. You will wait 20-30 minutes for a shuttle pickup. In that that time other hotels will have their van past you at least 2X. It' ONLY restaurant and room service both close at 10pm. Desk staff seems to have problems with many reservations at check in. Always a line and they are always appologizing for something it seems. No one available to help with your luggage. Room is very standard but that's OK. The rest of the place is a dissapointment.

| This is a very recommended hotel. Located near Los Angeles International Airport in a very quiet and calm area. This hotel has a free shuttle bus to airport. The bed is very comfortable and make you have a very nice sleep. Room is very clean.

| I stayed at this hotel for a week and I never had a problem. The service was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
