| This hotel was very clean and took good care of us on our trip. The only problem is that it is not in a vey good location if you are in Baltimore to see the sights. I'm sure it's main use is for aiport travel so the location is great for that.

| Previously stayed here without problem. This time - Room not ready at check-in time. When I checked again 1/2 hour past check-in time, the very rude clerk blurted "it ain't ready yet". When I confirmed that check-in time was 1/2 hour previous, her response was "So? It's not our fault that other people didn't check out in time earlier." When I began to explain that we chose a hotel with a check-in time that would allow us to do so prior to departing to attend a sporting event, her response was incredibly "bad planning on your part"!!! Also, various staff glared numerous times at my family and I as we were waiting in the seating area with our baggage (during the hour past check-in time that it took to finally get in). Had another local hotel had a vacancy, there is no way we would have remained. I will certainly never patronize this hotel again.

| Embassy Suites usually have nice hotels so we were safe in choosing it. Most things were up to par, the food was good and the room was clean. My only problem was the bed. I was hard as a rock. Most hotels nowadays may have the Heavenly Brand mattress, not this Embassy Suites. I also had 2adults and 2 children staying in the room but only recieved 2 towel sets each day for the entire week and half we stayed there. We tried conserving our towels by hanging them on the rack but that didn't work. We still only ended up with 2 towel sets after housekeeping came. Other than these two complaints I had a great time there and will stay again if I needed to.

| There was no bell hop to greet guests at the door when we arrived although it was late. The receptionists at the front desk often seemed preoccupied when I needed assistance. I actually stood there for several minutes before one woman even looked up. A statement of 'I'll be right with you' would have been sufficient. This was a family vacation over the 4th of July, and when I commented how busy it was in an annoyed tone, the staff member apologized, explaining that there were severeal large parties there, including a wedding party and a family reunion. I suppose they weren't used to it because they just couldn't seem to keep up. However, the room was very clean. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and the pool staff were great. There were even a couple of noodles and a floatation jacket for the kids. The kids got a kick out of the glass elevator. I'm not sure what happened during our stay, but the buffet breakfast was far from superb. The bacon and the fruit salad was the worst I'd ever had. Most of the food was flavorless, there were long lines, there was a shortage of clean plates, and dirty dishes were left all over the place because the staff couldn't remove them quickly enough due to the volume of people. We picked this hotel to save a few bucks, and because I booked late. Most of the harbor hotels were booked up already, so I guess I got what I payed for. Probably will not stay again.
