Courtyard by Marriott Santa Fe Amenities
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service downtown, and to the Santa Fe airport. The hotel offers an indoor pool, two spa tubs and a separate fitness room, a corner lobby fireplace, and 7,000 square feet of meeting space.

The gift shop—filled with handmade Native American jewelry, pottery, and baskets, as well as other gifts—compares well to those downtown. The hotel offers a “Local Favorites” list with the staff’s insider recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and shopping.

Recreation
Guests can swim laps in the indoor pool, soak in the two spa tubs, and exercise using treadmills, bikes, and weights in the fitness room.

Three miles away, the city’s largest public recreation center offers basketball, exercises classes of all sorts, a lap pool, children’s pool, cushioned jogging tracks, and an ice rink with rental skates available. The city’s 18-hole municipal golf course is 5 miles from the hotel.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: The lobby ceiling features vigas, or trees used as beams, and a graceful kiva fireplace warms the room on cool days. The framed mountain scenes and high desert landscapes add a Santa Fe flair. Business travelers appreciate the hotel’s convenient location, just minutes from downtown.

Amenity highlights: The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the Santa Fe airport and downtown. There’s complimentary wireless Internet access in the lobby. Guests can rent a computer, swim in the indoor pool, exercise in the fitness room, and enjoy a Southwestern dinner at the hotel’s Café Santa Fe.

Insider tip: The city’s Villa Linda Mall, home to Dillard’s, Mervyns, 70 other shops, and two six-screen movie theaters, is just a mile away. Guests with children can take them skating at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center, a five-minute drive from the mall. A city bus also stops in front of the hotel.

Café Santa Fe - Located off the lobby, the café serves a breakfast buffet that includes made-to-order waffles and omelets. Dinner features a range of Southwestern dishes and traditional American cuisine. The earth-toned decor and generous use of natural wood reflect the hotel’s Santa Fe theme. A small lounge adjoins the restaurant.

The tile in the main corridors shoul dbe replaced with a smooth surface. As guest come and go, each typically has wheeled luggage and you can hear the bumps over the tile for a few minutes through the doors and walls. This was the biggest nuisance during my stay as it can happen late night or early morning to disturb sleep.

We stayed at a hotel nearby the night before. It did not compare at all to the Courtyard. I really enjoyed the stay very much. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Santa Fe.

We stayed for two nights 5 days apart. The first night the fire alarm went off 3 times which was not good. However, the problem was repaired when we returned 5 days later. The rooms were very clean, the hotel staff was very nice, we did not use the restaurant so I cannot give any info for meals. All in all a very nice place to stay.

We were so pleased with the Courtyard by Marriott in Santa Fe. Very comfortable beds, variety of pillows and adjoining rooms for the kids. Everything was great.

Over all it was comfortable. They need to have a way to keep the noise level down from people slamming doors.

Courtyard by Marriott, Santa Fe, was about what we expected: a large facility, quite busy, somewhat noisy at night, on a very busy street. The staff were generally helpful. The one negative was that, for our second stay at the same hotel, the hotel and/or Expedia had neglected to record that the room had been pre-paid, necessitating some fairly intensive discussion with the desk staff. All was resolved amicably, however. All in all, this place seemed like a good choice for economizing families.

The hotel was an older vintage in Santa Fe that truly was in need of some renovations. We found out upon arrival that the Handicap Accessible rooms only are available with 1 King size bed. So we had to opt for the two queen bed non-accessible room set-up which left it hard for our daughter to maneauver in since she is in a wheelchair. The beds were quite old and bouncy, and the pillows where just terrbible. The atmosphere was plesent and it was peaceful at night.
