We got what we paid for. The condition of the hotel was clean, yet not very nice. In our room, we had duct tape on our windows. The shower was one of those kind of showers where you want to wear sandals at all times. There was water damage on the ceiling, lamp shades, and smoke alarm. Besides that, the continental breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable, all of the appliances worked (we had a room with kitchenette). If you're going to stay at this hotel, I would suggest having your own transportation though. The hotel was not within walking distance of upscale restaurants, downtown Miami, or Fort Lauderdale. If you're not willing to take the bus, taxi fares are around $50 to go to the Miami airport, Fort Lauderdale, and downtown Miami. An airport shuttle is provided, but at an extra charge (about $22 per person without tip). They don't lie however when they say the hotel is right ON the beach. It is. The beach is great, although you have to pay an extra charge for umbrella and chair use on the beach. Umbrella and chair use by the pool is free. The highlight of the hotel is the service. We had a problem with the TV and the shower tub draining, and they were immediately fixed upon request. The maid even cleaned our dirty dishes for us. They also replaced our mattress (which had no problems that we noticed) while we were there for a much nicer quality one. In conclusion, the hotel is clean and needs a little maintenance, but at the price we paid it was perfect.

The hotel was certainly shabby, but was very clean and had a certain kitschy traditional Miami Beach charm. The pool was great and the beach was wonderful. Our kitchenette, which had a stove, sink and good size refrigerator, came in very handy. The guests and staff were all friendly and down to earth. There was an excellent selection of cable TV channels. The hotel was very convenient to the Aventura Mall by either bus or car. Two complaints: the beds were much too hard and quite uncomfortable, and the valet parking service was very unreliable.

After reading some reviews I was unsure if this hotel was for myself. To my surprise this hotel was great. I had an ocean front premium room with balcony (must have) even when I wasn't at the pool or beach with my room being ocean front I didn't need to leave my room to feel I was there. Breakfast could have bigger selection (coffee, skim milk, any kind of juice, white or wheat toast, jellies, bagles and cream cheese, hot or cold cereal (frosted flakes or rice krispies, muffins or danish and fresh fruit, but it was free and you did have the option to buy a hot breakfast. Pool side bar and grill good and the prices are reasonable. Pool was absolutely great the ocean even better. I've been to many beaches in California,Florida and Puerto Rico this was one of the best. My room was nice needs some updating but liveable. King sz bed,5' fridge, micro, cabinets with all kitchenware(can opener,dishes,silverware,toaster)2 full size mirror length closets,in rm electronic safe, sofa, couch w/ sleeper, coffee table. It was your own little apartment on the beach. I will be back again next May.

The service was extremely friendly and helpful. However the hotel was in FAIR condition. The whole place was kind of dark and dingy. In addition there is no parking at the hotel (all valet), which was a surprise and there was an additional $8/day hotel fee assessed at time of check out.

My son Joel can't wait to go back, he really likes everything; family enjoyed so very much. I recomend to all of you this hotel, because it's a very quiet place to stay for a little family vacation.

We not only stayed there this year, but also last year. They have some hurricane damage and the rooms were kind of shabby. Our room had a broken chair and glass from the patio door still on the balcony. I would go back and hope that all has been attened too.

I don't have any complaint about this hotel. The room was comfortable with a beatiful view of the beach and pool. The valet service was excellent. The neiborhood is pretty quiet. The Hotel was very clean. I recommend strongly this hotel to anyone that really want to have peaceful and quiet time with their love ones.
