| The hotel could use some modern updates to keep up with the times. Also, a few more people working the front desk would be helpful since I had to wait over a half an hour to check in. The location was great with many shops and restaurants close by. The city is absolutely gorgeous too!

| Our motel room was very out dated, smelled like some odor was trying to be covered up, and not clean. The carpet in the dressing/sink area obviously had not been vacuumed as there was hair, lint, and paper on the floor.

| In my 50 years of traveling and staying in motels this was one of the worst. Rooms were not clean. Non smoking were not non smoking. Plumbing fixtures were in disrepair. etc.

| Hotel is in overall poor condition with much of it appearing to be unused. There was a large water stain in the ceiling of our room and it smelled dusty (over the smell of stale cigarette smoke as I was required to get a smoking room because of traveling with my dog). The desk clerk was cordial but inefficient. The maid left has her cart parked right in front of our door and asked if we were leaving when we stepped out but left it to us to move her cart out of the way. Poor value for the money.

| The hotel advertised free wireless internet, but my room was not close enough to the location of the server to get internet access. The selection of cable channels was poor, with no premium channels. The toilet leaked, and there was a sizable water stain on the floor. The window curtain pulley was broken. The lighting in the bathroom was dim. The towells were stiff and some were frayed. The iron was tethered to the ironing board without quite enough length to use comfortably. There was only one waste basket. Not all of the 'guest services' codes on the phone worked. I kept bumping my head on the light fixture above the bed. The art on the walls didn't all go together; the paintings were not hung properly. There was an annoying repetitive clunking noise whenever the person above me used their water. Someone put bags of garbage outside the entrance of my building that sat there for days (still there when I left). On the good side, the room was clean. The carpet was soft. The restaurant attached to the hotel, 'The Bulldog Steakhouse and Pub' had a decent menu, reasonably priced, although the service was spotty. Overall, I was not impressed, and I would probably try my luck at another hotel.

| Hotel was the pits. The carpets were satned and they smeled. No hot water one day had to take cold shower.Key cards did not work most of the time, and they left the out side doors open all the time. This is no three star hotel. It's not even a one star.Don't stay here.

| This hotel was probably nice in the 70s, but today it is substandard. Our major complaints were a very strong smoke smell in the non-smoking rooms and the 3 bags of garbage that were left outside our door for 30 hours. Also, our room didn't have an iron or board; that took 2 calls, a trip to the front desk and a sarcastic "Do you really need that right now" comment to get.

| From Friday to Sunday there were large bags of garbage left in the halls along with mattresses and other clutter, and in our room there were missing lightbulbs and a very loud and moldy smelling A/C unit. The receptionist (at 1 AM) gave me a map of the hotel buildings and directed me as to where to park, and was apparently unaware of the fact that where she told me to drive was blocked off by a low cement barrier that was not easily visible at night which I nearly hit, which had been there for long enough for weeds to have grown around it, and which necessitated a long walk through 2 buildings from my car with suitcases. Not getting my business again!

| The motel in which we stayed was in the process of changing ownership and it was obvious. It was clean enough but rather rundown and in need of new carpet throughout. The TV was small, the sink got stopped up[twice], and the housekeepers didn't know how to make a bed properly. The restaurant, on the other hand, had the best breakfast[and the best waitress]. We ate once in the evening and had questionable[tough] prime rib. I'm sure when we go back, we would lie a better motel.
