This hotel was very down at the heels: Rickety elevators; moldy, broken ceiling in the shower; broken phone in the bathroom - I had to disconnect it to stop the incessant buzzing; floor lamp and both bedside lamps wobbled and barely stood up - 2 had burnt out light bulbs; carpent was threadbare and should have been replaced ages ago. The good news? Linens were clean and the window opened to let out the strong odor of disinfectant.

Great location. One big negative is that the A/C unit is an old wall unit that made tons of noise (and is located about 2 feet from the head of the bed).

The rooms where clean, modern, comfortable and an overall great place to come back and relax in after hitting the sites and sounds of the big city. My boyfriend and I were very impressed, would recommend the hotel to anyone, and would consider returning on our next trip to the city.

At least one of their rooms have a bad heater. We froze to death and then switched rooms at 2 AM!!! After that it was okay. Too much Italian as well.Except these two things the hotel has great rooms. They have wireless internet for $10 and that's really nice. Room service as well as the bathroom is also nice.If there wasn't the problem with the heater I would go back to this hotel but first impressions always stay with you and with so many hotels in NY I doubt I'll ever go back to this hotel. However, I would recommend this hotel to others but tell them to really check the heating in there room.

not impressed with the quality of the hotel. The air conditioner didn't work well and it was VERY loud. Felt like there was a lack of information about the hotel. For example, no one pointed out what amenities were available in the hotel or pointed out nearby points of interest like good restaurants or a pharmacy. The staff wasn't friendly enough to make me feel comfortable to even ask.
