| The hotel overall was in good shape. The staff were more than helpful with directions etc, etc,. Great showers in the one-bedroom suite. Alittle peeling paint and water damage around the tub was noticed, but as a builder I may notice these small items more. Don't bother ordering room service if your expecting all the trimings with your meal. I order an aged sirlion steak. Which was perfect accept it was served in a plastic container, plastic forks etc. Alittle chessy if your paying $25.00 for a steak. Otherwise very comfy, super bed.

| Although we'd requested a non-smoking room, at first we received a smoking room. Called front desk right away and were upgraded to a suite. Very happy. This hotel suited our needs perfectly. Good value for the price (especially with an upgrade!).

| This is a great place--a tall hotel (more than 30 stories) with a small footprint, so there are maybe 10 rooms on each floor. The location is convenient to most Manhattan destinations. The staff is wonderful--they always end conversations with, "be well." The fully equipped kitchen (although a little short on cookware) is a help for saving on meal expenses. My sons (11 and 12), my significant other, and I all enjoyed our five-night stay here.

| My husband, teenage daughter and myself just returned from a five day, four night trip to New York. The Affinia Dumont was a wonderful respite after each long day of making every moment count in a city that has so much to offer. Our one bedroom suite was spacious enough so that we all could spread out, relax, watch t.v. or sit at the desk with a laptop. The king size bed was very comfortable and clean. The sofa bed was not very comfortable, however. That was the only drawback. The staff was ver nice and helpful, always providing a welcoming hello. The hotel is very close to the tunnel, making it a very fast trip to the airport. Guy and Gallard up one block was our breakfast spot- super New York bagels and wonderful cappucino- great to take back to the room for a delicious start to the day. Nice gym on the second floor-my husband used it every day. Kitchen with refrigerator a definite plus. I would highly recommend the Affinia Dumont.

| I had never heard of this hotel and chose to book there due to a good Expedia deal. I was thrilled with my stay. The junior suite was amazing -- huge, comfortable and quiet. It had a small, adequately equipped kitchen, a large livingroom with TV, stereo, desk, sofa, chair, coffee table and really impressive gigantic framed wall mirror with attached sconces, and a comfy bedroom with king-size bed, chair + ottoman, and TV. I had read that the bathrooms were small but did not find that to be the case. The hotel restaurant, The Barking Dog, was surprisingly affordable and the food was good. It had a lovely outdoor area with a large fountain and benches, set back from the street, so it seemed pleasantly secluded. The staff was friendly. Overall no complaints and I recommend it highly.

| We loved our stay at the Affinia Dumont, we had a King Jr. suite, the bed was extremely comfortable, the view was gorgeous, we were on the 33rd floor, corner - view of Chrylser Bldg and East River. We also loved the Murray Hill location. Its a WONDERFUL hotel and we would love to stay there again.

| Hotel was satisfactory. Make sure to stay on a high floor as there is alot of street noise. We were on the 6th and could not sleep. We moved to the 35th floor and had no problem sleeping. Frig is handy to have in the room when staying with children. Staff was helpful and friendly.
