Recreation
The resort's 75-yard-wide, 40-yard-deep frontage on Seven Mile Beach becomes crowded when cruise-ship passengers arrive for a day of swimming, relaxing, and snorkeling, so the resort sets aside a 40-foot-wide section for exclusive use by resort guests. Located on the street side, a 50-by-15-foot swimming pool provides freshwater swimming and quiet sunbathing on its surrounding sundeck. Use of snorkeling and scuba-diving gear off the beach is part of the All Inclusive Plan, as are kayaks and tennis on one unlighted court. A dive shop at the resort offers diving excursions, beginner's instruction, and certification courses (surcharges). The Jack Nicklaus-designed Britannia Golf Course is about a half-mile away. Depending on the day, the course is configured as an 18-hole executive course or as a 9-hole course. Rental clubs are available. The Links at Safehaven's 18-hole golf course is two miles away. A two-mile jogging/cycling/rollerblading path encircles the golf course. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

| The food was really good, service overall good, rooms were clean, pool was clean, great beach. The only problem me and my husband had was the lack of night time entertainment but it was a good price for the money. Could include better alchol on the all inclusive but the bar tenders were right there if you needed a drink. They really try to make your stay a good one. Even sent out a waitress to the pool for us to get drinks.

| We spent a week at the Beach Club Colony and really enjoyed the resort, especially the beach. In fact, we checked out several other beach spots on the island but returned to the resort beach because it was the nicest (less rocky, crowded or condensed). Our "standard" room was very standard; clean, but smaller than we're accustomed to in the USA. However, all other benefits far outweighed the size of the room. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating (top-notch!), the wait staff was fine, though not always as friendly. The hotel arranged a snorkel trip to Sting Ray City for its guest, making it very easy/convenient for us. All in all, this was one of the best trips we've taken--very relaxing and peaceful. We would have liked to have seen some night-time activity at the hotel, but our main purpose was relaxation so we weren't overly concerned about the lacking nightlife. We'll definitely return.

| The location of the hotel was good; close to town and shopping; sightseeing, etc. The sunsets during dinner were excellent. The all-inclusive offer met our expectations and then some - a lot of variety of food and drinks. The one major drawback was the bed - it was a double bed and the mattress should have been thicker and firmer - getting in and out of bed was a bit difficult.
