| I flew up to be with my daughter who is up there working for the season. And I was very surprised and pleased of the above average attitude of the staff. Very freindly and they will do whatever they can to make your trip special. I travel alot and this was one of my best times ever in a hotel.

| This was a great place to stay - right in the heart of Juneau and within walking distance to most of the sights. We really had a great stay.

| Hotel has no shuttle service resulting in costly taxi fares from ferry to airport etc. Failed to make the wake-up call. Small cramped room.

| Aesthetically, the lobby and dining room are lovely. That is where things stop. The room was cleanish when I arrived but daily cleaning was poor. The staff sent me all over the place to find ice because the machine was broken. It was very hot with the windows closed and pleasantly cool with the windows open but the wind whipped the flags outside my window and rattled my door so loudly, and along with the street fights, I was wakened several times during the night in fear. On a more positive note, the food in the dining room was superb!

| I was pleased with the internet connection. I had to purchase a modem for $10 a day, since I could not get the phone line connection to work.
