| Everything was excellent about this hotel, except for my experiences with the front desk. Upon entry, no one could be found. I stood at one of the check in "podiums" and hotel personnel saw me, but no one greeted me. They just walked past and went into the office area behind the check-in area. I waited a couple of minutes, but after no one came out, I went back to the office area and had to get someone's attention with "Excuse Me!" Someone came out and sighed, "How can I help you?" My next experience was with checking out. This was with someone else. I explained that I was checking out, and she did not ask me any questions, did not explain any charges or anything - just responded with "room number?" Next thing I know was that I was presented with a bill. No problem, except that I had with me, the big bottle of water that was not free with the room. I told her I had it, and asked that she add it on to my bill. She looked at me blankly, and sighed (yes - another sigh), you should have told me about that before!!! I could not believe that I was not only NOT welcomed when I arrived, but I was also getting scolded by someone quite a but younger than me. Anyway, this is just my experience. Like I said before, everything else was great! Clean room, beautiful on the inside, and nice amenities.

| This was a last minute booking for a hotel near Houston's Hobby airport. Many of the hotels near Hobby are well worn. This Marriott was an exception. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Check-in was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful.
