| I stayed at the Days Inn on 2nd St. in Coralville in August, 2006. Things I liked: free internet computer station in the lobby; the Walgreens across the street and the Hardee's next door. Also, there is a bus stop nearby, if you need to use public transportation. It is an old hotel: The hallway carpets were thin and dirty. Bugs entered the room through the air conditioner at night. There was no HBO when I stayed there. The "shuttle" is actually an employee w/ a car. He does not drive to the "campus" but to the university hospital; from there you can take a campus bus to the main parts of the campus. The hotel does not seem secure: anyone can walk up the steps on the side of the hotel to the 2nd floor; single women may want to stay some place else.

| The staff at this Day's Inn was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with Expedia and the manager and assistant manager went out of their way to help us.
