| Although the hotel was a good value for the area, it is is need of a renovation. Everything seemed a bit worn out. The carpet in the halls was old and kind of dirty and there was a very strong smell of deoderizer. We reserved a deluxe room, but on check in were given a regular room by accident. The regular room was worn and unappealing and had an unpleasant odor. The staff was very responsive and changed us to a deluxe room, which was better, but also a bit worn out. There was no TV remote in the room (they did bring one to us), the radio alarm clock did not work, and the A/C unit did not work well. The staff was pleasant and helpful in dealing with the problems. I would only reccomend this place if a person wanted to be in this location, near York university and airport and they did not mind the worn out state of things, for a good price.

| Mediocre service at check-in, parking is far from entrance and you need to wait to have them buzz you in, poor neighborhood, anf the towels were like paper towels. At least the air conditioning worked well.

| We agree the mattresses need to be replaced. The staff was professional and attentive. Any request was met immediately with a smile. We would stay at this hotel again.

| This hotel seemed shabby and dirty to me. It was also farther from the airport than I thought it would be. I would not go back.

| I really like this hotel. I always stayed in the bulding with 4 floors. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. Lounge is nice and reasonable. Staff is nice. The best hotel for the price on Expedia. I always stay here and will continue to stay here.

| Where to start ...perhaps the guy sleeping in the hallway on the 7th floor, the broken light fixtures, mold on ceiling, chemical smell in hall and room, noisy exhaust fan you cant turn off, inability to get served in restarunt 1/2 hour after it opened because no one is working in room, cobwebs under bed, telephone you cant hear on,shower head that allows barely a trickle of water and the ever popular womens undergarments in main hall at 11 am (not that they should be there at all but you would think that at almost noon an employee would notice them)all total made for the most unpleasent stay in any hotel i can remember
