| Really good Chicago location and within easy walk to virtually anywhere. Hotel is a little dated (check out the dining room!) but is very clean and comfortable and the staff were great. Unfortunately every morning starting around 7am there was a distinct thumping sound coming from somewhere which we think was either a treadmill in the gym or some other peice of machinery but it didn't bother us too much as we were up early anyway.

| We stayed on a July day, with outdoor temps over 95. The room air conditioner kept the room very comfortable. Although all of the vending machines were sold out of bottled water, the front desk staff gave us free bottled water from the resturant attached. The room was very clean and quiet. The pizza resturant attached had a bar and seating area to eat dinner. The pizza was very good, and reasonably priced.

| I've stayed at the Best Western River North on several occasions and never been disappointed. I will say that the price this time, while still affordable for Chicago, was higher than what I have been accustomed to on past trips. The staff is friendly, hotel is clean, and you can't beat free parking.

| I was quite pleased with this hotel. It was close to the attractions that my family wanted to see. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The pool area was clean and we spent quite a bit of time there in the evening. I most certainly will be back.

| Our stay was very good. We went down to Chicago to see a musical and enjoy the town during spring break. Our bed was very comfortable, nice pillows. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. Not a large room but adequate for us since we were out on the town most of the time. Free parking a perk, though the below ground parking looks a little run-down. Room service breakfast was not terribly warm but tasted good. Train station was close by (take this to get around town). Also recommend going during the week rather than the weekend; it is less packed. All in all a great stay.

| We thought this hotel was a pretty good deal for the price. The free parking was a definite plus, but we were disappointed that they did not have a continental breakfast. The location is great because there are several restaurants nearby, and it's also fairly close to a subway station. Shopping is also just a few blocks away.

| The Best Western Hotel on Ohio street looks small next to all the other giant towering hotels in Chicago. It has a nice location though, only a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile and right near the middle of Downtown Chicago. The hotel has a patio on the roof where you can sit, the view up there is really neat. The layout was kind of wierd. I got lost wandering around the halls looking for the pool and the ice machine. It was kind of loud at night in the hotel. The heater didn't work very well... but for the most part the hotel was great, especially for the price.
