Built in 1930, this hotel occupies a park-like, riverside setting in downtown Saskatoon. A thorough restoration in 2000 restored this grand railway hotel to its former glory. Guests may now indulge in deep massages, refreshing facials, and more at the full-service spa, or unwind by wandering the five acres of private riverside gardens. Additional amenities include an indoor pool, and children’s pool. A hot tub, steam room, sauna, and a fitness room with more than 40 pieces of strength and cardiovascular-training equipment are also on hand. | I lived as a child in Saskatoon and always wanted to stay here. I suppose it would need to be amazing to live up to my childhood imaginings. It was a nice place and a great location. There were a few glitches with computers, housekeeping, parking permits, etc., but the hotel was very accomodating about trying to remedy their errors. I would certainly stay again, although possibly a little overpriced for the quality.
