| Island Palm Resort is more on par with a motel. The service is decent, not exceptional. The customer service NEEDS more attention to detail. It is NOT located close to the beach. There are lots of friendly lizards to contend with.Every thing is for rent including the towels. Over all I would say it is not a place I would consider staying at again.

| No shampoo in room. Use inefficient window air conditioning units that don't cool the room. Exterior paint is tired and faded. Somewhat isolated from Freeport or Lucaya and is near some rundown neighborhoods. I am an older male and don't require much in the way of comfort so I thought the hotel was OK for the price. Probably wouldn't pick this place for my family & kids unless you were on a strict budget.

| The hotel was clean and centrally located, we enjoyed use of the sister hotel Island Seas and had no problems with the shuttle to get there. The hotel staff (the front desk staff and restaurant staff was downright MISERABLE and POSITIVELY NOT HELPFUL!!)ei: When I asked about a coin operated laundry the said NO we don't have one, never mentioning that they had a laundry service 2 doors down (in the hotel!!)they were so not friendly!!

| I was very impressed with this hotel. We booked it because we didn't plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel, we just wanted to sleep there, but we ended up spending a lot of time at the pool/bar area. It was very clean and the people were very friendly and very willing to answer all questions we had. I would definantly stay there again!
