What to expect: Business travelers are frequent guests of this hotel, with its beige-and-cream-striped walls adorned with framed sketches of ancient Rome. Marble floors in brown and ivory lead to a wooden registration desk near the entrance to the hotel restaurant, as well as a carpeted sitting area with a taupe velvet couch. Lunchtime gets busy, because professionals from area corporations come for the salad-and-pasta buffet. Amenity highlights: Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, for guests relaxing in the restaurant lounge, or on the warm-weather sundeck accessible through the indoor pool. The complimentary indoor pool and sauna are open year-round. An adjacent fitness room offers high-quality treadmills, stair steppers, elliptical machines, and stationary bicycles. Insider Tip: About a half-mile east of the hotel on the edge of Woodfield Mall, the Curragh Irish Pub offers five separate bars, live Irish folk music, a no-smoking dining room, cigar lounge, casual after-work bar, and a space for large groups.
Garden Cafe - This spacious American restaurant just off the lobby serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Breakfast features a hot-and-cold buffet, and lunch is a buffet that includes soup, salad, and pasta. Adjoining the restaurant is a small bar with a TV, a lounge with plum-colored velvet couches, and a sunken library with overstuffed chairs and shelves of hardcover books.

| This hotel provided easy access to major shopping areas. The staff was more than helpful from upgrading my room to giving directions. I will stay there again!

| This was a very nice hotel. Looks like it has been recently updated. Close to everything in Schaumburg that you would want. The workers seemed very friendly. We wished we could have spent more time here instead of moving to another hotel. The room was very clean. It was pretty comfortable with a nice layout. My hubby thought the bedsprad needed updated, but I thought it was OK!!!

| This hotel cost less than many others nearby but is nearly as good. It is clean, comfortable, and very convenient to Ikea and Woodfield mall.

| Great price on Chicago suburb hotel. They did not have the promised king-size bed (queen only available). Hotel is due for an overhaul. But it is clean and, as I said, the price was great.

| I thoughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean. The staff was friendly. The hotel looked very modern and classy. There were always towels at the pool. When I needed something I just called and got it quite quickly. My husband and I were in a suite that was gorgeous! I felt that they really took care of us!

| They only offer wireless internet in the lobby and you have to pay extra. Hardly any tv channels.
