| This hotel is flawless. Its disadvantage for some will be an advantage for others: its non-central location. Having been to Amsterdam many times, I was delighted to discover and explore the rings outside the central zone. They were built largely in the 1920s in the charming Amsterdam School style. They are serene and tidy, in contrast to central Amsterdam. I recommend this place very highly. It is also easily reached on the 25 tram line direct from Central Station.

| We recently had a wedding to go to in Holland and decided to spend an evening in Amsterdam prior to returing to the States. I must say that the Okura staff went out of their way to make us feel VIP. I will be back!

| If you are attending a convention at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam, this is a great hotel in a great location. However, if you are more interested in the Museum district or other action in the middle of town you will need to learn how to get around via the excellent Amsterdam tram system. The hotel is excellent, but we were a bit put off by the breakfast service at the only hotel restaurant open in the morning. You have 2 choices: Coffee only or the buffet for $33 eu. And there are no local eateries serving breakfast within walking distance before 10 AM.

| This hotel is excellent. Everyone is courteous and extremely helpful. Room service was prompt the food was wonderful. All in all a very good trip. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in a residential area so its quiet of a night and the tram for downtown is 2 mins walk from door.

| Everything was fine until I checked out and left Amsterdam. To my dismay I found out that, after all charges paid: room, bar, restaurants, etc.., the Hotel was withholding an extra 200 Euros for every night I spent with them, they, in other word, carved a small trust fund for themselves using my Credit card. To add insult to injury when I asked for a refund, since I settled my bill, they wanted 5 business days. When I asked why this withholding the cashier's answer was it's our policy. Well it's a lousy policy and until it's notamended I'm not ready to go back.
