| Even though they were still undergoing renovation of the lobby and restaurant, the staff was the best I've encountered lately. The rooms are interesting, laid out differently and well. It was a pleasure. And the location is great. I would pick this hotel over others we have stayed at in L.A.

| This was a terrific bargain as the hotel was under construction. We knew this ahead but opted to stay anyway. It was a great decision as we received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. We loved it. The ammenities were fabulous and the hotel was most accommodating to all our needs. Entry into the hotel was a bit cumbersome( as this is the construction area) but once inside it was fine. Parking is always an issue in LA-you have to valet. Fantastic workout area on 2nd floor- free Internet available and there is wireless in room. Itis Right across from the Beverly Center a great shopping area. Strategically situated in a great area close to most attractions. We would go back in a second.

| When my friend and I checked in, they did not have the room that I booked available so they upgraded us to a suite. It was fabulous!!! We took probably a dozen pics of the room alone! The hotel is undergoing major renovations and the hotel was very loud and dusty. The lobby was on the second floor and not very convenient, the outside doesn't even make the hotel look as if it is open. I have been here before but I do have to say that the entire staff and the new suites make up for the dust and ruble!!! Can't wait to see it when it is complete which should be next month sometime!

| this hotel was undergoing major renovation and our room was right above it, we felt we were shoved to the back of the hotel. The staff was friendly enough and helpful it just wasn't our kind of place.

| The hotel is in a perfect location. We were across the street from the mall, we were a few minutes away from Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd, and Sunset Strip. The staff are super helpful and on point. No complaints. The hotel is currently being renovated so we were a little disappointed we didn't get to see the Sofitel at it's best. The beds are amazing! I travel on a weekly basis for work so I know a good hotel bed and this hotel definitely had it! LA was great, first time for this native New Yorker;) Enjoy your stay.

| Reminded me of a European Hotel with lots of flair. But less smoky!!! Beautiful accomodations. The carpet was a little worn in the elevator and hallway but everything else was excellent.

| From the warm, friendly staff to the most comfortable bed around, your stay at the Sofitel will be delightful. Delicious dining along with attentive waiters and bartenders will entice you to return time and time again. Located in one of the most prestigious sections of California, Rodeo Drive shopping, gourmet dining and spotting those elusive Hollywood stars are just around the corner.
