| The hotel is in a great location for visiting DC and all the great cities of northern Virginia. Right off of the beltway and a very quick drive to the other major routes around the area. I have used this hotel many times before because of it's great location. If you park your car there is a daily fee, guess this is common for the area. Your room key activates the gate for the parking garage if the hotel guest gate is working, that is, most of the time we had to back out of that line and go through the visitor gate and pull a parking receipt. We received a note under the door that they would be testing the fire alarms from 9 - 5 for one day.....well that turned into longer that 5 pm and into two days meaning you could not rest in your own room. The front desk did not seem to care when we called and questioned them about it. All in all I would more than likely stay here again.

| This is one of the few high rise hotels in the Washington DC area. It's a clean, well appointed place with a spectacular view of the area, including the Washington monument in the distance. My only complaint was that in our room, the bathtub faucet was leaking. We only stayed one night, so we didn't bother complaining.

| #1. Shuttle service left us sitting at shuttle stop for 1+ hour upon arrival at Reagan Intl. They drove right by us the first scheduled stop. #2. Their information desk was a joke. They could barely speak English. #3. One of the 2 double beds had fallen through the bed frame. This is how we found it upon arrival. We repaired it ourselves. #4. There was a stench in the hallway that smelled like a high school locker room. #5 Being the information desk couldn't help us with directions to a dinner cruise we had scheduled, I used their computer room to print out a map from mapquest to the dinner cruise location. I paid by credit card and a receipt was printed out. #6 The morning of checkout I noticed the checkout receipt was slipped under the door. They had charged me an enormous rate for using their computer room. I the receptionist at the counter I had already paid for the (1 1/2 minutes) of computer time by way of receipt which I showed her. She removed the charges.

| I got up with a virus my first day here and tried to recuperate in bed all day. We were the only guests on the 11th floor (that I saw) because all the other rooms were being renovated, so I got to listen to hammer-drills, etc all day instead of getting to rest. The desk person said nothing could be done about it. I guess nothing could be done about the empty "bar buddy" in the room so I had to go shopping for something I could keep down. Very inconsiderate!

| I stayed at this hotel while I was searching for apartments and it was great. Not only was it comfortable (especially with the high powered AC Fan) after a long day of apartment hunting, we ended up having one of the few balconies (very pretty area)!! The restaurant in the hotel was nice (of course you could get cheaper elsewhere but it was convenient and with a nice view of the water so worth it in my book). It had a barbershop and a convenient store (again not the cheapest but convenient). The staff was great - I needed directions and the concierge not only supplied with my guides to Alexandria and DC but also printed directions to where I needed to go from the hotel. My only issue was the bathroom in my room would run for a very long time and it made me nervous of a bigger plumbing problem. Otherwise, a great place and highly recommended.

| The hotel is ideally located for the tourist to Washington DC or the Northern VA area. It is a short car ride to most of DC, or the hotel has a twice an hour shuttle to the nearest Metro station that can get you anywhere quick. The service is outstanding and the staff was friendly and helpful.

| The beds were very comfy, but the rooms were rather hot. No breakfast was a downside, and the shuttle only comes every 1/2 hour and is unpredictable so we wasted a lot of time this way. Plus, its so far out that a taxi ride back from DC is a good 20$. (which you will have to take if you stay out at all late, since the last shuttle is at 11) The rooms were clean, no problems at all, and very spacious.
