Features
What to expect: This 22-story hotel is built around four atria with terraces. The large, quiet third-floor lobby, location of the reception and concierge desks, has marble floors topped with area rugs and potted plants. A sitting area and a lounge are just off the lobby. Businesspeople and conferees predominate at the hotel, but the central location near shopping and transport links also attract vacationers.
Amenity highlights: The health club features what is billed as the largest indoor pool of any Boston hotel. A sundeck adjoins the pool. Cardiovascular equipment complements free weights, and the club has both a sauna and eucalyptus-scented steam room. Massage and personal training are available for a surcharge. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available throughout the hotel.
Insider tip: The Opera House, located across the street, was an elaborate theater in the early-20th century that fell on hard times. It has now been renovated in opulent style with up-to-date technical equipment. Take a peek at it while in Boston or, better still, take in a show.
Avenue One - Contemporary American cuisine in an informal setting. Seafood, poultry, steak, fondues. Extensive wine list. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, pre-theater menu daily. Lobby Lounge - Martinis, wines, beers, and spirits. Occasional live entertainment.

| Located in the Theater district, near Chinatown. Its location was very safe and well lit, a lot of people moving up and down even late in the night. The Hyatt is located near the Boston Common (5min), Quincy Market (10min), Little Italy (15min). The staff, most of who were from overseas (Jamaica, Japan, France etc) were extremely helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Ask for a floor on a higher level, the view is fantastic!

| Our room was comfortable and clean but on the first full day we were there, we left the room for the day and when we came back later that afternoon, our room was not serviced! We called housekeeping to request to send someone up it took nearly two hours and another phone call for the house to clean up our room. The price to stay at this hotel is definitely not right for the poor service in exchange. Don't get me wrong, everyone was extremely nice, but the overall service was terrible.

| Just had a few days before starting school and wanted our 10 yr old to see some historical sites to flesh out his American History classes. Easy walk to most major sites. Subway only a block or 2 away.We thought an excellent value and choice especially for a downtown hotel. Discovered the health club late in the stay or we would have used it more.

| I was helped at every turn by all service personnel as well as people in the city at large. My daughter and I never had to worry about getting on the "T" in the wrong direction. Our stay was very comfortable- although it is expensive.

| Hotel is convenient only to downtown Boston and ok for shopping in city - food and bar at hotel was very pricey - other restaurants are decent cab rides around town - hotel personnel was exceptional and if you tipped, they didn't forget! Our room was very clean, but small considering the price - and hardly any amenities.

| For the price it wasn't that good. When we were checking in they told us our room wasn't ready and the hotel lobby was packed an extemely loud. We had to leave and check our bags. The room itself wasn't as clean as it should have been. It looked the cleaning crew was in a rush that day. I will probably not to back to this hotel.

| We went up to Boston for a weekend getaway and were very happy with our hotel. It was convenient to the subway and just a short walk to Boston Common. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean (except our shower had mildew on the tile). I would stay there again :)

| Clearly a place that doesn't need to encourage guests to return. Staff were off-hand and unpleasant. Dinner in the restaurant was mediocre and expensive plus we were kept waiting for a table for more than 30mins when over half the tables were empty.

| The main problem with the hotel is access to the Hotel from the street. Also access from the airport is confusing. The staff was excellent and if you like shopping it is very convinient.
