| OK - so my room wasn't the greatest, that I can handle if the staff is nice and my needs are met. However, when I have no towels, iron, working coffee-maker and am on a grueling business trip, I EXPECT staff that takes care of me. EVERY day when returning to our rooms, our keys did not work. The staff was not apologetic or sympathetic and did not offer a reason. I would NOT recommend this to anyone - either for business or leisure until the re-vamp the facilities (good location) and give the staff a make-over.

| We booked a 2 bedroom unit. When we arrived the first room we were given was not satisfactory. There was a strong smell of urine right outside the door, the carpets were very dirty and there was no A/C in the main room. We were given a second room that didn't have the urine issue, but was equally unmaintained. It was relatively spacious, but things like the smoke detector was sitting on the refridge, the shower (just one in a 2 bedroom unit) sounding like a freight train when run, remotes with no battery covers, and the worlds thinnest pillows made it clear the place was not being maintained. Even the hot tub was broken (hot but pump broken and tiles missing leaving sharp edges). It definitly wasn't up to my expectations. On the plus side, parking was convenient and the staff was pleasant.

| The hotel was a great deal and very inexpensive. With this hotel in particular there was a problem as for the three nights I was there. The night I arrived there were no towels in the room for the bathroom or shower. On Saturday the room was not cleaned or touched by housekeeping staff at all. The hotel had a nice pool but the breakfast offered was a joke and not even worth the time. A good cheap hotel but if you expect service go somewhere else.

| The rooms are in desparate need of new furniture and bedding. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but the room conditions were not the best. Carpets were worn and dirty, bathroom sink had rust stains, the toilet was not seated properly, kitchen cabinets for some reason were nailed shut and the continental breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice, and a box of doughnuts. Unless some remodeling is done I would not stay here again.

| The hotel was very filthy and in poor condition. I repeatedly found hair on our towels, after they were washed and returned, as well as hair found on the walls and bed. The floors appeared to have never been cleaned either. I would strongly recommend that people do not stay at this hotel.

| The room was dirty and dingy, there were few amenities, the remote control for the TV was broken, there was no high-speed internet access, and the included breakfast the next morning (Coffee, juice, and donuts) was a joke. I would never stay here again, even if I was given a free room.

| Negatives: older facilities, some odd maintenance - certain cabinets were simply screwed shut. Furniture was older. Not as 'slick' as newer hotels. Wish that they had something other than just donuts for breakfast. Can hear road noise from bedroom.Positives: spacious and clean rooms - two rooms and a bathroom. Good price. Nice heated pool and spa. Liked the individual patios. Staff was really nice and helpful. Was perfect for a family - plenty of room, had a sofa bed and queen sized bed, 2 television sets, microwave and refrigerator. We will stay there again in the future.

| Really disappointed with this hotel. Looked fine on the outside, but very run down. The cupboards were nailed shut and light globes blew while we were there. It was also a little way from downtown. The free continental breakfast consisted of a donut/coffee/juice. Stay closer to downtown.

| The hotel itself was rather old and moderately maintained. The room was sparsely furnished for a suite with few or no extras - not even disposable silverware for the kitchenette. The staff was very freindly and helpful with our requests for additional towels, blankets, and pillows. Overall, the stay was worth what we paid for it, which was very little.

| The setting of the hotel was very nice and the location was great. You were only 5-10 minutes away from Tempe, the airport, great shopping areas, and downtown Phoenix. The cleanliness wasn't great and the service was mediocre but since we didn't stay in the room all day, we enjoyed our stay.
