Features
What to expect: The hotel staff works hard to make families welcome, and the hotel's close proximity to the Clayton business district makes this a popular stop for business travelers. The lobby is an expansive room with polished marble floors and tall ceilings, and a formal, elegant feel.

Amenity highlights: An indoor/outdoor pool makes swimming an option year-round. Families may take advantage of a "Certified Kids Friendly" area with toys and table for little ones, and free arcade games and foosball for older kids. Also available is a business center with fax, photocopier, and computer services.

Insider tip: The outdoor patio at Cardwell's, 4 blocks from the hotel, is a popular see-and-be-seen spot, especially in fair weather.

Max’s - This restaurant offers steak, seafood, pasta, and salad, which can be served on the outdoor patio in nice weather. The sports bar section of the restaurant has satellite television screens tuned to the latest sports event, and interactive TV trivia. The sports bar also offers a free buffet Monday-Friday evening. Max’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is open daily.

My stay a the Crowne Plaza was great! My family and I arrived around 2:50 for check-in but, the roomwas not ready. After waiting for 30-40 minutes, the hotel clerk offered us free lunch and parking for our inconvenience. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were plush and comfortable. I would absolutely stay at the Clayton-Crowne Plaza again.

Overall, the hotel was good. In our room, to get hot water, you had to run the water on full for at least 5 to 10 minutes.

The hotel service was very good and the beds were very comfortable. The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures and the room had some minor repair issues such as: towel rack was loose, thermostat was not attached well to the wall, sheetrock around the window was starting to deteriorate. Overall, the room could have been in better condition. The pool and the free gameroom were big hits with the kids.

Bed is really the most comfortable I've slept in. That's why I stay here when staying in Clayton. Location is central to both city and county.

Our family stayed here in July 05. Our kids thought the pool area was great. The location was ideal for getting around the city. Many great restaurants nearby within walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel last year and it was OK. This year the place reeked of super strength cleaner which was almost nauseating. The exercise equipment in the fitness room was in bad shape. I am amazed it is a Radisson. I chose it for its location twice but will avoid it in the future. I understand it will be taken over by new management soon. Maybe that will help.
