| The Auersberg is a fine hotel with excellent service. The staff is friendly and helpful and ready to assist at every turn. The rooms and public places are quite attractive and clean. There is a lovely garden at the back of the hotel for breakfast, snacks and evening drinks. The hotel is in a quiet area a short walk from downtown.

| I read many good reviews about this hotel before booking with them, maybe it has to do with the fact that we were given a room in the villa building instead of the main building, one of the big problem with villa was that it does NOT have an elevator, and we had to drag our heavy luggage all the way to 4th floor and then down 2 days later. 2nd problem with our room was that not only it didn't have A/C (I think most of the smaller hotels in Austria don't have A/C), the room also had only a small window which only opened slightly by tilting up. Even with 2 tiny fan going at the same time, the room was still very hot and uncomfortable since not much air could come in from outside. The hotel does offer very good breakfast in a nice dining room with a patio area with a beautiful garden.

| This hotel is a real gem! We've travelled in different european cities before, and this hotel was our favorite....we reserved for a superior room and got a room on the second floor with a garden view. At the end of each day's sightseeing, we found that we could really relax & unwind in our spacious, cozy room. It had a separate daybed area that was comfy.

| Good location. A bit far from the train station, but still an easy walk. Close to all the major sights. The room was large and exceptionally clean. Internet access was a plus. Breakfast (for a significant surcharge) was excellent.
