| Great location--in the middle of everything. But we went during a very busy time, so our service was barely average. Probably a very nice place when they are not sold out.

| Overall, I was not satisfied with this hotel. The beds are very hard,no coffee maker provided in your room and you are charged $1 for a cup of coffee. The housekeeping service was lousy, I had to ask housekeeping for a roll of toilet paper which should have been provided with the room was cleaned. In addition, the ceiling vents in the bathroom and bedroom area were both filthy!! This hotel should be downgraded from a 4 star to a 2 or even a 1!! I think their rating of a 4 is not reflective of how this hotel really is. It is also noted that this hotel should consider either cleaning their carpets or replacing them!! We stayed at this hotel from 06/30/05-07/03/05

| Everything was fine with the hotel except maybe the price of it all. If you have no budget it will be alright but coming from someone who doesn't travel a whole lot and is on a budget, I thought it was overpriced. Everything was great besides that...awesome location.

| Very nice traditional hotel. I am used to staying in smaller, botique hotels when i visit new orleans so it was a pleasant surprise to stay in such a large hotel with friendly, curtious staff and excellent service.

| The Fairmont's location just outside the French Quarter is perfect -- you can easily visit the rowdy night-time street-partying, but still go home to a quiet night -- in a safe location. The Fairmont is also convenient to the St. Charles streetcar to take you to the Garden District. We loved the pool too.
