    We came out to Orange County for a business trip and thought we could mix in a little pleasure at the beach. This hotel was not our first choice we had made plans to stay at one of the "name brand" hotels in the area. Let me be perfectly clear this hotel is the only hotel on the beach. We were very disapointed with the name brand hotel once we found that it was not close to the beach as promised. The Newport Beach Hotel is very clean and the staff was great. This hotel was a cute boutique hotel with the appearance of a Cape Cod beach house. When we finalluy arrived at this hotel we felt like we now could enjoy ourselves and did.

    Bad service. Noisy. Uncomfortable beds. No oceanview as promised. Totally overpriced. Phone was not working and we weren't able to get wakeup call. Although breakfast was included in the reservation, it was not available, because there was construction going on. The manager just said "too bad" and left it with that. We don't recommend for anyone to go through the same disappointments.
