Convenient to Salt Lake Palace. Far better than another hotel we stayed in on the same trip. Already planning to book for next year.

This is a decent hotel to stay at if you have a conference in SLC as it is directly across from the conference center and is within easy walking distance from most of SLC's top tourist spots. Though the decor is a little outdated, the room was very clean and the double queen that I stayed in had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel is also easy to find at night because of the red neon lights running along the building. There is complimentary breakfast (just ok) and free parking for paying guests. You can eat breakfast and lunch there and there is also a bar (which I didn't try out). Other ammenities I did not use are the 24 hour pool/sauna and fitness room. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel (I did have low expectations in the beginning) and would stay there again if I ever needed to go back to SLC, although I don't recommend the city itself so much.

The Shilo is right across the street from the Salt Palace Convention Center, a good value with very comfortable rooms. Pillow top bed was nicer than my own, easy parking on site or airport transportation.

We stay at Shilo quite often. Recently it took about half an hour to check in. Very frustrating! Other than that every thing was great!

We've stayed in several hotels in SLC. This was probably the cleanest hotel room I have seen. Bed was very comfortable. Nice choices for complimentary breakfast in the morning. Within walking distance to most of "things to do" in downtown.
