| We had a very nice stay at the Inn at Essex. It was about a 40-minute drive from Stowe, VT where we were skiing. The drive was lovely too! The food at the restaurants at the Inn was really wonderful. We would definitely go back for another visit!

| It's an amazingly beautiful hotel in all sense--decor tastefully done in lovely colors maintaining the New England charm, flavorful food prepared from chefs from the culinary school on site, tranquil surroundings and hideaway from all burdens of city life. Can't wait return, especially to see the Fall colors.

| Although our room was very pretty and clean, that was where the charm ended..The "inn" sits in a parking lot as part of a mall complex, so our view was parking lot/maintenance area. It was also hard to understand, that it maintained a culinary school, yet, it was hard to get a cup of coffee and a baked good, even though they claimed to have a bakery! I was told it was for observation???
