What to expect: The resort is popular with business travelers spending a night or two, with families and couples seeking moderately priced holidays on a Caribbean beach, and with groups flying in for beachside weddings. Its location offers tropical tranquility as well as easy access to Charlotte Amalie's duty-free shopping, dining, nightlife, and commercial offices two miles away. Palm trees and flowers bring bright tropical color to a small sundeck around the pool. The shuttle operates one-way only, with guests free to return by taxis when they wish.

| The hotel was the best part about our trip. The town was dirty and we didn't really feel safe. Getting there was a hassle and everything was extremely overpriced. In a week, we went to town twice. Thankfully, the hotel had a nice pool and the beach was beautiful.

| Hotel is very convenient to the airport and good for a quick stay when traveling to other Islands. Beautiful beach, with a few snorkeling spots. Bed was comfortable, and all rooms face the beach.

| Not worth being the ten minutes closer to the airport on getaway day! We found the hotel dirty, filled with biting mosquitoes in the rooms and although most people use it to get to the airport early, they were adamant about rooms not being available until 4 pm!!!! The air conditioning was the only good thing that worked well in the room. Taxi fare is almost the same as to town; they don't offer a free shuttle to the airport...so, next time, I'm going back to someplace in town!

| We loved this resort. The beach was beautiful and great at the one end for snorkeling. It's near the airport so we saw some planes taking off, wonderful site. All rooms have a balcony facing the Caribbean so the view was fantastic (saw a rainbow). It also has a safe in the room for your valuables. Pool was great and was lit up at night. Free continental breakfast every morning and plenty of food and refills. Smaller resort than a lot of others, so it's very peaceful. It's near Charlotte Amalie which is great for shopping. Go to Coki Beach - great snokeling there also.

| Front desk staff needs to become more acquainted with activities on the island. Perhaps smile once in awhile. The A/C unit was loud and seemed to be inherent to the design, not an old unit. Each day the room staff would "forget" something - whether it would be coffee, towels, sweeping. Our phone never worked - should have seen the look we got from the front desk when we reported it. The single restaurant was too rich for every evening dining - need more variety. I'd recommend running over to Frenchtown for dinner - better selection/prices/service. The beach was magnificent. Given we were away from the hotel most of the day - it was ok for sleeping and base of operations.

| Nicely landscaped, clean and large room with beautiful view, right on the beach with pool and beach access, nice restaurant (but a little pricey) and bar. Very close to the airport, but the noise of the airport is not bothersome. The only complaint is that the front desk staff the day of arrival were not very helpful or friendly - maybe we just got a bad apple. The next day was another person who was very nice.

| When we walked into the room everything was lovely. Although as we stayed further it got rather dissapointing. The hotel was alright, the food was EXPENSIVE. I can't stress that enough. It was expensive while it wasn't the best food. The local people in the virgin islands are VERY RUDE. Giving dirty looks all the time and not very hospitibal.
