| * As advertised - loft suite fit my family of 5 perfectly for the long weekend * Better complimentary continental breakfast than most - nothing stellar, but much more than "the usual" * Friendly service at check-in after midnight * Away from freeway - the lack of road noise is the best recommendation I can give a Dallas-area hotel.

| I was in North Dallas for my sister's wedding, and I chose Hawthorn because another family member had already booked a room there. The staff put us in rooms next to each other, and it was fun. The room was one of the coolest rooms - I've never seen a 2 "bedroom" 2 bath hotel/motel room like it. The place is older & looks like an apartment complex, so if you're looking for fancy, it's not for you. If you're looking for comfortable accomodations, nice staff, great locale off Central Pkwy/75 - Hawthorn is it!!!

| Pleasantly surprised, friendly, helpful staff, small town feel. Drawbacks? a little mildew in the shower, cracks and missing pieces in the tile and walls in the bathroom (I'm a clean bath freak) and I had to ask for towels and also sheets for the sleeper sofa as none were in the room therefore we had to wait before taking showers when we wanted to.

| We stayed in the room that has the King size bed upstairs and the queen down. it was so nice to have our own bathroom separate from the kids and the room upstairs was nice and dark and secluded so we could sleep in. Having the kitchen is a bonus so you can save money on eating out. Great place to stay.

| For extended stays this is very good value indeed. If some maintenance needs bother you, try another. Also on the positive side: good location for North Dallas, Richardson and Plano; very clean; good breakfast included.

| This "room" has a full kitchen, queen bed, sitting area with fireplace, tv and floor to ceiling windows, and a bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is a king bed, another bathroom and another tv, with an open balcony to the living area that can be closed off for privacy or to shut out any light. Great hot breakfast, friendly staff and a convenient North Dallas location.
