| As we pulled up to this hotel, I had my doubts. Even though they had tried to convey a charming creole style, it left some thing to be desired. Like maybe someone that wasn't colorblind should have picked out the exterior paint. I was greeted by the clerk, from here on out known as Miss Congeniality, with a sullen,"Can I help you?" It almost seemed as if she didn't want to be there at all. Perhaps she was planning on going out after work; seeing as she had on a most fetching zip-up spandex shirt that screamed professionalism. That night when we returned we had guests in our room. I'm so glad that they thought of including a welcome committee, but I would have preferred them to not be in our bed. I would also have preferred for them not to be fireants! The front desk sent up the security guard to give us keys to another room. We got to enjoy the warm night of Mobile in a room that was approximately 80 degrees and smelled like the dumpster of a Dauphin Street bar. As we checked out the following morning I also noticed the exclusion of an apology about the condition of out former room, the one with the fireants. I guessed they were too embarrassed to say anything. I guess what I've tried to convey here is, do not stay at this Ramada!
