| The Riviera Hotel was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, bar none. Everything from the polished wood and marble floors in the rooms to the live piano music floating up from the lobby bespeaks elegance and refinement. The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful, assisting with anything from translations to information about things to do on the town. The Mediterranean Restaurant has daily fresh baked bread and a lavish buffet at very reasonable rates. All of this in a small package gives the Riviera Hotel the friendliness of a small hotel with the quality of a lavish 5-star resort. Upon my return to Taipei (the hotel is reason enough for a return trip) I will not even look at other hotels, but will book immediately at the Riviera Hotel for the duration of my stay.

| Hotel is extremely well suited for the business traveler or people looking for a quiet getaway. Cozy hotel gives a more personal feel than some of the larger offerings, but doesnt spare anything. Free ADSL and the staff is well versed with what is available to the holiday traveler. Rooms were very nice and setup well for working and relaxing.

| This hotel is an excellent hotel. The rooms were large, modern and quiet. Free Internet DSL access. The staff was extremely pleasant and helped us get arround Taipei.
