| The hotel was nice and the service was outstanding, but the air conditioning was not strong enough or cool enough. Being in Mexico located quite south air conditioning is important when it comes to traveling in the summer time. Outside of the tempeture of the room the hotel gets an A+

| Food and drink is expensive at the hotel. Coronas were 3.75 and a can of pop 2.75 US, breakfast is $16.00 US. Seemed a little expensive. Hotel is very clean, but needs some maintenance. Beds are rock hard. We had a great time, would stay here again, hopefully they spend some of the money on a few upgrades...

| We just came back from 8 days in Ixtapa at the Dorado Pacifico and had a wonderful time and found the hotel to be very adequate and enjoyable. We found the room, junior suite, to be very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We sat on the balcony mornings with our coffee and evenings watching the people at the pool and beach and listening to the surf. We had a very nice time there and would recommend this hotel. The pool had waterslides that we adults enjoyed as much as the kids. Great place to go!

| The food was ok, a little pricey for what you get. It takes forever to get your bill, no matter where you go. When we checked in, our room had not been cleaned. The bell hop said someone would be there shortly and then expected a tip - really. We waited about twenty minutes before the maid came, she was fast to clean the room but then expected a tip. Everyone wants a tip - bring lots of $1.00 bills. The beds are hard. Don't expect to have a fridge or micro that you can use. We had the best view on the 12th floor facing the pool - loved it! We booked the Sunset Boat Tour through the hotel, had a blast dancing the night away.

| The hotel seemed O.K. until the following morning we went to use the pool and it was filthy, you could see scum around the edges from not being cleaned. We also ordered food and it was barely edible. We go to Mexico a lot and we usually love the food and the service we recieve but this hotel really was disappointing because we didn't even feel comfortable using the pool and my 5 year old daughter really enjoys swimming. She usually rates the places we go based on the fun she has in the pool at the hotel and we wouldn't let her go swimming in this pool.

| Great location across the street is the main area with stores, restaurants, and bars. 2 clubs "La Valentina" and "Christine" are also just down the street. Beach is nice, pool small but nice. Only complaint is that we can here are neighbors, it seemed as if all the noise from next door carried over. Otherwise its clean, convenient.
