| Stayed here last year and will stay again next year. Convenient to Grand Central, good restaurants within walking distance, nice-clean-quiet room, hospitable hotel staff, subway stop is about half a block away, shopping nearby, etc. No complaints about this place! We really like it.

| Can't wait to go back. If you are looking for a bargain hotel that is conviently located, for those who don't mind walking a block or two to shop, or to the theatre this is the place to stay. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

| The Helmsley Hotel is a good value for the pricey mid town hotels of Manhattan. The room was reasonably spacious and very clean. You have access to free internet and tv. The location we found convenient, less than a block from the subways, and an easy 10 minute walk to the United Nations. It is a little further walk to the Broadway/Rockerfeller Center area, but very pleasant. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

| We were well satisfied with the NY Helmsley. It is close to Grand Central Station, and within easy walking distance of Times Square. We got the room we requested and we able to check in by noon. The room was very clean and spacious with big, thirsty towels, an iron and robe. I would definitely go back there again.

| Everyone we encountered..front desk, room service, and housekeeping..were all friendly and courteous. We found the new bed in our recently renovated room very comfy, and the flat screen T.V. a nice touch, although a few more channels would be nice, and figuring out how to go between internet/ T.V. was challenging.Overall, we loved our stay.

| We always receive excellent service at the Helmsley. The location is great - just a few block away from Grand Central. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious, and the staff was very attentive.

| We had a wonderful experience at the New York Helmsley Hotel. The best part of our stay was the convenience and location that the NY Helmsley provides. Cost, location, and quality would certainly be reasons I would book the NY Helmsley again without any hesitation.
