The hotel was very clean, and well located close to DC, but not too close. (8 miles or so) The room was nicely furnished, very upscale. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had the usual amenities. Very good value for the price. The lobby and lower floors were very beautiful.

Our visit to the Marriott in Falls Church was for a quick weekend trip to a wedding - the reception was at the hotel and it was recommended by the bride and groom. Since we weren't familiar with the area, but needed travel around the area by car, the front desk staff was great with directions and approximate drive times. The hotel was clean, the room in great condition. Good toiletries! My only recommendation is that you bring your own hair dryer until the hotel supplies regular sized ones rather than the small wall units.

I did not leave a credit card number when I checked in for the "incidentals" and subsequently made a local call, which cost $1. When I returned none of the 3 keys my family had would open the door. When I contacted the front desk they sent someone up accompanied by security to open the door. When I got inside the phone displayed a message and when I called I was told I needed to come down to the desk and pay the $1. The next day I was once again locked out for no reason and the hotel staff was rude about it. We checked in on Friday and out on Monday and the staff on those days were excellent, courteous, and very helpfull; however the weekend staff was rude and obnoxious. So, if you are staying mid week I would say go for it, but if your stay is on a weekend go elswhere.

Hotel was great! Very nice interior and rooms with Marriotts great beds. All the personnel from the hotels front desk, bellhops and housekeeping were very, very friendly. Always smiling and greeting you during your stay and asking if there is anything you need and/or how you day was. If you get a room on the concierge level, The Concierge Level Lounge is great for unwinding and has two excellent concierge personnel working in the lounge. The indoor pool, fitness center and whirlpool were great, very clean. Located off the Beltway (I-495) and Rte 50 in a park like setting and halfway between Reagan National and Dulles Airport. Very relaxing atmosphere with excellent personnel.
