-Great look to the hotel and the rooms. Service was mixed. The air conditioning was not working in my room which was a problem. If you get a room there, get one far from the lobby and bar as the noise is very excessive.

our room was literally 10 feet from the disco lounge and LOUD music. We didn't know this was basically like the Beverly Hills equivalent of "rooms by the hour". Management would not move us to a quiet room and our room was about the size of a tuna can. Not even enough room to open the suitcase on the floor. No tub, just a shower that was 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft. The "window" next to our bed was against an ally that the employees use to take their very loud smoke breaks..about 2 feet from your face while trying to sleep. Again, management did nothing to help us or try to make our stay comfortable. Upon check out, our room and tax was billed to our credit card, even though we had booked on expedia and paid in full at the time of reserving the room. They couldn't figure that one out either. We have had better experiences in dumpy hotels in Europe than this swanky Beverly Hills establishment.

I'm I too old to enjoy a minimalist hotel, avante garde interiors, and a "happending" lounge area. This hotel hass "boutique" style, unique area...but it wasn't a good match for my business trip, trying to work in the evening, and lack of othe restaurants close by for meals.People were friendly and as accommodating as can be expected.
