| Emerald Lake is breathtaking, the location sitting on a gorgeous lake surrounded by mountains is superb. Couple of drawbacks - customer parking is about 6 blocks away from the hotel, you have to rely on the shuttle most of the time and you still end up walking up a lot of steps and hills - not for the elderly. No A/C and our room was very hot when we arrived, they did bring us a fan and send someone to fix the register but we had an uncomfortable first night. We had prepaid but they still 'preapproved' an amount on our credit card for $100 for every day we spent there even though we charged nothing to our room. Coffee was not good. But staff was pretty well trained and courteous - and the location was excellent for Yoho, but in mid May many of the best Yoho sites are still not open.
