Great view of the Lake with its own private beach. Nice to be away from the bustle of the casinos.

Driving up to the hotel had us thinking and first appearances do not help this hotel. However, once we opened the hotel room we were pleasantly surprised, as it appeareds to have been remodeled not long ago. Our balcony on the first floor was 30 feet from the waters edge and the view was fantastic. We stayed during the week and it was quiet and we were undisturbed. Definintely would stay there again.

service was either lacking or unpersonal. it was windy the first 2 nights, and we had a constant draft in the room. bad insulation and doors not well sealed - loud & noisy. continental breakfast was watery coffee and old packaged danishes. not good for such a beautiful location and time of year.

Great view of the lake. Building seems to be dated and you can hear foot steps from people above you or noisy neighbors. Some people come here to party and gamble, so skiers look out. Great outdoors spa. Overall satisfactory but we had expected more for the price.

I have to agree with most other reviews. The hotel isn't the easiest on the eyes from the outside, but the rooms are spacious and clean. There is extremely thin walls, so i would request a rooom upstairs if possible. The staff is excellent. And you just can't beat the location.

You get what you pay for at this place. The hallways and exterior of hotel are far from upper crust, but the view was what we wanted and what we got. Beach access was also great. Decent balcony's with decent privacy. No air conditioning, but after airing out, the breeze off the water was both refreshing and soothing. You have to be able to overlook the stained carpets in the hallways and a unsightly drainage area off the balcony areas, but it was just what we were looking for, at the price we were looking for. I believe that they have some family-friendly building with larger rooms as well. Tahoe is cool when all else is hot, and because of elevation bugs don't seem to be an issue.

We were pleasantly surprised with our hotel stay. The views were awesome and the service great. It is an older hotel but you can't beat the location and the size of the rooms. We will visit again.

When we looked at the hotel the first time, we were very dissappointed. An old non-descript building but the rooms were very well kept and clean. The best part of the room was the view of the lake and a 4-step access to the beach. The views are unimaginably beautiful. So if you choose this hotel go for the lake view.
