Features
What to expect: Airy and light-filled thanks to three atriums, the hotel caters to both business travelers and vacationers with suite living, indoor gardens and pool, and complimentary breakfasts and evening manager's receptions. Its central location eliminates the need for driving and provides day-and-night strolling opportunities in mountain air.

Amenity highlights: A carpeted brick staircase in the lobby atrium, which contains a pond, waterwheel, and live greenery, leads to a second-floor fitness center, a good-sized indoor pool, and an eight-person spa. A sundeck outside the pool provides summer sunning opportunities.

Insider tip: Not to be missed is a two-hour complimentary manager's reception held every evening on a second-floor terrace inside the hotel's third atrium. Microbrews, cocktails, California wines, and great views of the atrium's splendor await.

All guests can take advantage of a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast served on the second-floor atrium terrace next to the indoor pool.

Echo Restaurant - This restaurant fuses global flavors with French techniques to produce such dishes as beef filet served on a grilled polenta crouton, and poached salmon and roasted-corn relish with green-onion risotto. The restaurant offers linen lunch and dinner service inside and, in warm weather, on the deck overlooking the city's main street.

The cost was above average for a fairly average room, but the complementary drinks in the lobby that evening made it a little more worth it. The breakfast the next morning left a little to be desired, but all in all it's a nice hotel, with good service that is clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again.

We stayed here for 5 nights 2/06. Although not the ritziest of hotels on the strip, it was nontheless excellent. Morning breakfasts are wonderful, outstanding value and a great begining to a day of skiing. The scenery is bountiful and magnificent,; not a bad view anywhere. The slopes are immaculate, Then at the end of a day of skiing we had to suffer through the evening cocktails (FREE) at managers reception. Truely an outstanding selection for a hotel.

The hotel has an interesting setup, where is has the rooms facing the atrium. We were on the 9th (top) floor, and my only complaint was that, when we were walking to our room, the big metal air ducts were right past the railings. But we enjoyed our stay, the room was a good size. Personally, our favorite part of the stay was the complimentary breakfast. And not bagels and cream cheese (though you could get those), but eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, french toast, pancakes, breakfast breads, cereals, fruit, oatmeal, a juice bar....AWESOME. Saved a bunch of money, since meals ARE expensive there. You also better make reservations early in the day for any of the fine dining restaurants around. We went in January, so I don't know if that had something to do with it.

What a great hotel to stay at. It was immaculately clean. The cooked to order breakfast is not to be missed. Breakfast had a wide variety of beverages, fruit, and ect. Cocktail reception was also great. Pool area was clean and very nice. Too bad we had to take care of business, would like to go back and just hang out.

The hotel is very nice and has a great location near casionos, sking, shopping and the prettiest lake in the world. The hotel and expedia both billed our credit card, that was a little disturbing. The hotel did take care of the mistake.
