Quality Inn University Calgary Amenities
This northwest Calgary motor hotel is located within a mile of the University of Calgary, the Olympic Oval, McMahon Stadium, and a C-Train transit station. Several parks are within a few blocks, as well. The hotel is built around a central two-story atrium, where the heated pool and restaurant are located. Most rooms have an interior atrium entrance as well as a second door that opens to exterior corridors. In addition to the pool, the hotel offers a spa tub, steam room, and fitness equipment. The Quality Inn’s business center provides a computer and wireless Internet access (available throughout the hotel; cards are also available) for no charge. Room service is available from the restaurant, and a fully licensed lounge (with big-screen TV, billiards, and video lottery games) is also on the premises. Complimentary Continental breakfast and newspapers are provided daily, and the hotel pays for one-way transportation from the airport for up to two guests per room. Two meeting spaces are available, with capacities of 15 and 80 persons.

The hotel has an indoor pool with a slide, fitness equipment, and a spa tub and steam room. Foothills Athletic Park, three blocks west, has a lit running track and playing fields, while Confederation Park, six blocks north, has playgrounds, a golf course, tennis courts, and cross-country ski trails. Calgary has an extensive system of bike paths, accessible at several points near the hotel. Farther out of Calgary, many different mountain sports are available in Banff National Park and in the Banff/Lake Louise area, site of the 1988 Winter Olympics.
