Harbour Plaza Hong Kong is a gem that offers five-star service at a reasonable price. It is a bit off the main drag, but it captures the charm of the mountains that line the mouth if the harbor and commands a lovely view of the famous Hong Kong skyline. The staff is courteous and helpful. There are plenty of amenities for all types of travelers, including a well equipped fitness room and a business center. My wife and I partially enjoyed the elegant roof-top pool that presents a breathtaking view of Hong Kong and Kowloon. The restaurants are excellent and serve a variety of choices, although the prices were a bit steep for us. Although the Harbour Plaza is not serviced by the MTR, the hotel does provide a complementary shuttle to the Tsimshatsui area. The Hung Hom Pier is also a short walk from the hotel, allowing for easy and convenient ferry service to North Point, Wan Chai, and Central. My wife and I enjoyed our four days in Hong Kong and were very happy to have stayed at this hotel.

Staff genuinely friendly and remarkably helpful. Great location, slightly removed from the madding crowd. Delightful to sit in air conditioned comfort and watch the Hong Kong Island and cruise ship lights wink on as dusk descends. Would definitely return on a future HKG visit, again an undeserving and undetected interloper in the Aston Martin and Porsche set.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon (one of two destinations). We were very pleased (first time in Hong Kong) with all aspects of the hotel. Felt very comfortable. The location is a little distance from the "action" but Ferry to Central is 5 minute walk and taxis take you quickly to Kowloon. Breakfast was very good. Nice lounges. Great view of harbour. Very gracious staff. Cool rooftop swimming pool.
